I'm Starza, I've written for a few anime and video game fandoms (You can visit my profile for samples of my work. Most have been beta read, but some haven't so fair warning). As a reader, I'm pretty harsh and honest when it comes down to it. If you can't handle that kind of feedback, I would advise to look somewhere else.

If you send me a story that hasn't been passed through a basic spell check/grammar check, then I'll send it right back to you. There are plenty of free checkers online, there's no excuse for this anymore.

Also, I'm not going to rewrite your story for you, I made that horrible mistake once and vowed never to repeat it again. I will make suggestions if I sense the flow of your writing is off and suggest if a sentence needs to be reworded.

For fandoms I know, I'm pretty much a person who clings to canon. If I read your story and cannot recognize that these characters are from said universe, then why would I read your fanfic over, say original work? While I don't mind AUs, I tend to prefer AUs that have a sort of 'butterfly effect' more than, say, high school AUs.

I also am picky when it comes to sentence structure.

Spelling. I am horrible at catching even simple spelling mistakes, and I fall victim to it a lot (peak vs peek, leek vs leak, etc etc).

I'll beta read for fandoms that I know of and prefer fandoms I have a grip on canon. Basically, anything that I've written for is game for me. I've listed fandoms that I feel I have a comfortable grasp on too. I've probably missed some, and if you don't see a fandom listed, you can always message me. I can beta read for spelling/grammar/structure errors, but you should really consider getting a beta who is familiar with the canon.

I'll also go for any genre, I have no real preference for it.

For video games, I tend to stay with RPGs.

No High School AUs except for the Persona fandom since the characters there are already in high school. For every other fandom, it's a no no. Most of the other fandoms contain adult characters, so it's weird to see them in a high school setting. No shota either, just not my cup of tea.

Also, I did say I don't mind MC/OC, but I won't beta read obvious Mary Sues. I will be sure to tell you why I feel that way and it'll be up to you to fix it or find someone else to beta your fic.
