I have beta read for many authors that have long left fanfiction.net but I will accept any story that is actually interesting to me. I love being a bouncing board for ideas for authors. As a beta I do prefer to recieve work in Microsoft Word format so that I can use the edit program to make notes of changes and recomendations - that way you as the writer have a final say in what you will or will not change. Just PM or send me an email if you would like me to beta for you with a description of the story, pairings, and a first chapter if available.

I'm good with story movement, figuring out when it is best to hold back and when to fully releash a storyline. I also good with grammar and descriptive writing.

Spelling has always been a weakness, but that is what spellcheck is for most of the time. I also lack that ability to acknowledge when characters are "OOC" as the characterization is dependent on the story. I don't force a character to act as they would in the original movie/book/comic/etc. as these stories often place the characters in situations they were never originally seen in.

I have preference by category and pairings if it is a romantic fanfiction. I tend to prefer slash or yaoi stories, especially in reguards to Harry Potter and anime fanfiction. That said, there are certain categories where I prefer the het pairings, such as Twilight and Glee.

If the story does not interest me, I probably am not the best beta available so will let you know if your story does not match my taste or hold my interest. As a specific, I will not beta an anti-Draco Harry Potter fic since I can guarantee that I will not have no interest in the story.
