I'm open to just about anything- but lemons, I can't beta those. When I betaread, it takes me very little time to spot the mistakes- mostly because I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi- but it takes me an hour or two to actually fix things or advise about things. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

If you want me to betaread something, it has to have at least a semblance of a plot line- otherwise, I'll cringe and put it off. Fluff is alright- as long as it is at least plausible.

I am good at grammar and spelling. I also excel at rephrasing sentences that are hard to understand. Although it might take me a few moments.

I am really bad at correcting diction errors (errors with words) if you can't find the correct word, don't ask me, please. Look up the meaning. And I'm really bad at lemons- I don't really beta them well.

I prefer stories that have meaning to them- things that show how you feel a character would feel. One-shots are fine. Songfics are perfectly acceptable, as long as I at least can look up the song. If the song isn't on Youtube or I don't have a copy, then you're a bit out of luck.

I. Hate. Lemons. Period. Exclamation Point. Semi-colon. (What? Scratch that last one.)

Plotless stories- take the time to think up some PLOT before you write it up. Or just don't, period. Mary Sues and whatever-her-male-counterpart's-name-is - hate them, despise them, they make me want to hurl. Gosh, do I sound negative. But seriously! There's a website you can go to to find out if your character is a Mary Sue. Or a whatever-his-name-is.
