I'm relatively to new to posted fan fiction, but I would like to think I know well written stories when I read them. I enjoy nearly anything from friendships to romances to platonic stuff and so on. I consider the whole sharing of writing to be very reciprocal because you don't know how far the connection goes when you share writing with others.

I enjoy the relationships between characters, it is the heart of the story, the rest is only an extension of them acting and reacting to what is going around them. There is always time for revising later, first write the story, go with it.

Editing while an after thought, it is helpful to accept what others have to tell you about your stories because see it may start as your idea, but others will shape it as you write it, whether they are the characters or the readers. It is the tale that draws you to it and others will come to read it, but remember art takes work, always in process.

I don't have anything against any type of story telling, I just know what I prefer to read or just read, as for the rest, there are many flavors of tea if you will, so you always drink or in this case always read, and others you'll dabble to sample.
