I am a medium-speed beta reader. I take a fairly quick time to proof-read and help revise stories. I like to take my time when writing meaning that I like to elaborate to a certain extent. Writing is one of my stronger subjects according to my grades in school. I tend to favor lengthy stories and enjoy reading fanfics all day. I prefer Pearlshipping and Advanceshipping stories, although I will agree to beta-read a story if I have a good knowledge of the topic.

I have a few strengths in writing. Although I have not beta-read any stories and am new to betareading, I am a fairly good writer. Throughout my childhood some of the stories I wrote tended to be read by teachers a few grades ahead of the grade I was in being impressed. I have written a piece that ended up in the newspaper and have been interviewed for the newspaper several times. I was named student of the month and student of the year in my old school for my excellent grades in math, science, and writing.

I am NOT perfect. I tend to write about one thing and go off topic. Also, I sometimes don't elaborate enough and leave words out (I fix them afterwards). My one true weakness in writing would mainly be non-fiction writing. I tend to do well writing fictional stories but with non-fiction stories I sometimes mess up the facts and have a hard time researching something.

I love lengthy stories with 1500+ words per chapter. I love Pearlshipping and am a fan of Advanceshipping (I prefer pearlshipping). I am also able to beta-read about Naruto, Bleach, and (gulp) Pokeshipping (I hate pokeshipping but that doesn't mean I won't beta-read it). If I have enough knowledge on a certain topic I will certainly agree to beta-read it. I have no objections to song-fics either. I have no objections to beta-reading lemon stories.

The only stories I would not beta-read would be topics that I have no clue about and would not want to mess up the author's fanfic because I don't know much about what he/she is writing about.
