I have to like something to critique it properly. That said, I like most of what I read. Fanfic is first and foremost entertainment, and the medium allows plenty of room for diversity and experimentation. If it works, it's good.br /

I'm flexible as regards the degree of 'editing' I give a story. Tell me how deep you want me to go. I can stop at rearranging sentences in paragraphs, or I can suggest plot and character changes.

I'm good at condensing wordy descriptions and finding ways to move a story along. Readers will think if you let them, and they take your story more seriously if it's obvious you didn't post your first draft.

I go spastic over spelling and grammar mistakes that could be caught by a spell checker. If you send me something full of such, I'll print it out just so I can chew it to pieces and spit it out. It's therapeutic. Also, I have this thing about deadlines. If you want it back quick, it had better be short.

I prefer fics with a plot or a point, but I'll accept one that simply paints a scene, if it's clear that's the writer's intent.

No poetry. I can't tell good from bad, and anything I suggest wouldn't be likely to improve the work. No crackfic. If I want to hear OOC goose-gabble, I can listen to rap.
