Like many people on this site, I love a good story. However, I understand that if I'm being asked to beta read, I'm expected to find and correct mistakes in your writing. I'm supposed to give constructive criticism, and I'm going to state right out that I'm honest and nitpicky. If you can't handle me picking apart your story that you think is excellent, don't ask me to read. If you're not comfortable with me handing you the truth without the sugar coating, don't ask me to read. If you have the BALLS to give me a troll story, I will refuse and block you. I take my writing seriously, and if you want me to take YOU seriously, so should you.

Through most of my writing career, I've learned what it means to be descriptive without being overly verbose and to piece together a coherent plot line from the main parts of my stories that I originally envisioned. Now, I'm willing to help others with what I've learned so far. I can help with descriptions, dialogue, and as I like to research the worlds in which my fiction takes place in thoroughly before writing, I might even be able to give you some fun facts about certain events in a timeline that you might want to add in for some good trivia.

I'm not perfect. I will overlook a few things here or there, even when I try my hardest not to. As much of a Grammar Nazi as I advertise myself to be, I may miss smaller errors in regards to perfect grammar.

I also tend to be pretty hard-set in my headcanons about characterization, so if I say that your character seems a bit OOC to me, it might just be because I don't see him/her the way you do. However, I know bad characterization when I see it and I'll be one to tell you if I think you're doing it completely wrong.
