As a beta-reader, I am probably as much a reader as I am a beta. I will read for everything from story to spelling. I'm willing to read stories outside of my own writings as long as I have at least some knowledge of the fandom. I will do my best to point out positives as well as negatives and keep criticism constructive, but I do tell it like it is. If you can't handle that, I'm not the beta for you. But then, if you're looking for a beta, you probably are looking for constructive criticism.

I have a very sharp eye for typos, spelling mistakes, and all related things. I have an active imagination, and will be able to offer my own views on characterization.

Like I said above, I have my own views on characters. Feel free to tell me if a character's behavior is intentional and not an accidental slip.

Oddly enough, I'm probably more willing than most to take on a story with a same-sex pairing. Slash and femslash are my main writing areas, and my main reading areas as well. I am not in any way averse to het-centric stories, but I tend not to read them as frequently.

I'm willing to read most anything. Admittedly, I've become strongly attached to/opposed to some pairings within my favorite fandoms (mostly Harry Potter), which could interfere in my betaing. Please contact me if you're concerned about any of these rules. No horror fics, please.
