Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta I would most likely be best at picking apart grammar or spelling and sometimes I can catch plotholes and things of that sort that might need adjustment or correction. My focus would definitely be in the grammar department though, bad grammar bothers me and is relatively easy for me to /br / |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strongest area would probably be in the form of working as a grammar check. I notice and am bothered by bad grammar and thus am a good resource if you need help improving yours. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
As to things I would not be as good at, in a lot cases I'm still learning how to properly do characterization and put the right amount and sort of detail in my stories, so I'm probably not as much someone to go to if you're trying to develop characters and worlds. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I will read just about anything, but fantasy style stories are usually my preference and as this is a fanfiction it would probably also be preferable that I am betaing stories for books that I have actually read, movies/tv I have actually seen, etc. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I don't prefer gay/lesbian pairings in the stories that I read, or couples that don't have at least some sort of actual possibility of relationship rather than, these two characters sound good together even if they didn't like each other that way in the original story. |
