I tutored creative writing and composition in high school and collage. I earned high grades (marks) in both and most of the people I tutored made deffinate improvement in their critical thinking which is one of the most important criteria of a good writer.

I have a good handle on how the main characters act when it comes to Star Wars Stargate and Sailor Moon. I recognize Mary Sue quickly and will point out ways to help you not be one. I belive in making fictional things believeable in the real world as it helps people relate to your world. I'm reasonably knowlegeble in a huge selection of subjects and have access to people experts in some things I don't know so if I tell you something doesnt work that way its because I checked.

I am a poor speller so I won't catch certain things. My Japanese culture is patchy too as my instructor passed away a few of years ago before I could complete my training. I do however have a good handle on real vs. manga appropriate interactions so please specify if you wish your style to be realistic or fantastic.

I prefer anime and science fiction FF though I will accept others especially if I'm familiar with the original story or can quickly familiarize myself with it.

Please do not ask me to BETA stories based on completely unlikely pairings as there is a reason certain characters are together and not others. Not into switching up sexuality. Please keep lgbtq characters as is and vice versa. I will critique you extra hard if it's song fic or poetry because it really rarely works well. I don't mind crossover style as long as it stays cannon so not into a Kriptonian Vulcan Jedi who just happens to be on present day earth for no apparent reason and it had better not be because she's an orphan left there to protect her or that she lacks all the weaknesses but none of the benefits of any of those things. *coughcoughcoughmarysuecoughcough* Other than that I'm pretty much open to anything else and will tell you if it's not my cuppa.
