My primary focus is towards linguistic flow, homophone/spelling correction, grammar smoothing and plot consistency. My preference is to point out errors and offer options on ways to fix them, not flat out make the changes myself. Mostly because I feel this will help the author grow as a writer, and keep the writing in their style rather than adopting mine.

Consistency with canon is secondary, I'll tell you if something you've written conflicts with canon (whether characterization or setting) only if I haven't seen justification for the conflict in how you've developed your story (both in premise and actual writing).

I have read a LOT, so I have seen the language correctly used in a wide variety of ways. I also have been writing by choice (as opposed to school assignments) for a couple decades giving me personal experience playing with English... I'm just bad at getting enough written to share. To cap that all off, I have also taken several classes on writing creative fiction.

My English is a blend of British and American due to having grown up between the two lands.

I'm not really a fan of vampires, though I can deal with them if they align with old folklore forms (have studied the Slavic legends). Most of the time, heavy use of song lyrics puts me to sleep. Fully AU stories are also not something I generally care to read (meaning things like: using the Harry Potter names on characters in a completely magic-free setting, or the ubiquitous "characters from X fantasy/scifi/historical/etc setting are modern day teenagers/adults attending/teaching at high school in the USA").
