I love reading and writing. Once I get into a fandom or genera of writing, I'll try to learn it inside and out. I love reading a fan's interpretation or AU of a story or /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I do hold an English degree, so I do pay attention to grammar and spelling. If you just need someone to look over your story for fluidity or proper formatting, I am your gal. br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / As you can see, I'm quick and to the point. I try to be as honest and as matter-of-fact as I can be. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Short stories/one-shots are my forte. I can be very picky about what I read. I can also be too blunt; I don't tend to mollycoddle, so I may not be the best choice for individuals who are more sensitive about their /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / Also, I am human and make mistakes. I may not catch every minute detail the first time around. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Short stories, angst, horror, and crack fiction are my favorites (in that order too, actually.) Anything that is strange or different. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Like I said, I can be very picky about what I read. I don't like overused topes or "tragedies" unless there is something that sets them apart from other writings. I'm not a huge fan of mushy romance either, or cheesy smut. |
