I may not be the best writer in the world but reading is something I excell at. I'm very good at picking good stories from bad, sometimes just from the summery. Others, I don't even need to read a full chapter. Here's how I work, you send me the chapter over PM, sometimes you need to break it up because of the character limit on it, that I read it. Then, I am not going to through and put periods or commas or delete them where you did or didn't put them. I'm not that kind of beta. Instead, I'm going to tell you what's wrong with your story. Repeatative words, cookie cutter characters, slow plot, too fast plot, too much details or not enough, your writing style in general. Is it bad or good. I tell you how to improve things, it seems annoying at first but trust me, you get better at these things if you do it yourself. Only if I see repeated grammer mistakes will I point it out. Otherwise I say 'let spell check deal with it'. I'm here to give you advise on improving, chapter by chapter. Not grammer or spelling, but writing style. Voice, theme, tone, different word conotations. That's what I do.

I'm not going to read your story and correct everything wrong I see because that bores me, howeever I will tell you what I find wrong with it so you can fix it. You fixing it means you're less likely to make the same mistake again. I don't bother too much with bad grammer or word jumping, I tell you if your characters are becoming cookie cutter characters, I say when you have too much detail or not enough, I'll tell you if I see a grammer mistake often enough so you can stop doing it. If the writing is bad I'll give you tips for improvements. Basically, I point out the flaws and you fix em.

Like I said, I won't correct all your spelling and grammer mistakes because 1) I don't want to do that because it's monotonous and boring and 2) if you fix it yourself you're less likely to keep doing it. If it reaches a point in the story that I just can't read past anymore, I call it the Point of No Return because then I stop wanting to read. If I reach that point I won't do it anymore. Like if a character does some thing so bad that I could never forgive him but you're going to have some one do exactly that, I say no more. If I wouldn't forgive some one of something than I say no. If the story becomes too long winded. If the plot line starts moving slow or if I keep telling you that something needs to be fixed and you don't listen, I won't do it anymore.

Well, I do prefer romance over anything so love is always a good theme with me. Humor works just as well. But really I'll read it if you ask.

Tragadies. Hands down. You probably hear this all the time but I don't do sad and depressing. Life sucks enough already I see no reason why my sources of entertainment should as well. So I don't like character death. I'll read it if I have to but I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY don't want to.
