Hey. I'm Lozrii or if you prefer, Laura. As a beta-reader, I'm pretty honest although I like to think of myself as diplomatic (unless mI;ve had a really bad day ;]). If it really will not work then I will probably tell you, but I always try and see the potential in a fic. I will go over your work and suggest edits along with the reasons why, although you don't have to change your story if you don't want to; I'm here to advise you, not to write your fic for you. It's YOUR fic after all. I despise chat speak - can u reed dis lyk (NO!) - although I don't mind 'tbh' etc (as long as it's not in the actual fic) :L. If I can't read your story, I will not Beta it; end of story (okay, super lame pun)! Also, if you can't take constructive critism, don't bother asking me because you won't learn anything; trust me, been there, got the t-shirt.

I would say that I am pretty good at spelling, and I do know quite a lot about canon of certain things. I catch most typos as well, and am very punctual - my turn around time for a chapter would be a couple of days at most unless I'm going away or am bogged down by coursework (something - I'm not going to lie - that is happening more often than I'd like). I'm good at suggesting plots/tweaks to any and am pretty good at showing character development. Gosh, I sound so conceited :L

The only language I speak other than English is German, and I am not the best at it. Although I am fairly good at canon character's characterisation, sometimes I make mistakes and my ability to pick out grammar mistakes is sometimes not the best.

I'll pretty much beta-read anything with any pairing although I do prefer serious stories to parodies (in saying that, I read a fantastic parody once so I won't rule them out completely; just make sure they're funny!). I don't mind FOC as long as they are well written and are realistic. eg: no elf in middle-earth has purple eyes. Arthur is not going to fall in love with your OC straight away. Merlin is the most powerful wizard, end of. And Voldemort does not like good charlotte or sweet, cute, fluffy bunnies. Actually he's more likely to eat them. Comprehende? ;)

Really slushy romances - no thanks, although on the whole, I am partial to a bit of romance. Really sue-ish Mary-Sues - the odd trait is okay, but full blown Sues annoy me. In saying that though, if your plot is good enough and you want to iron out some sueish kinks then thats fine :D.
No awful sex scenes - if you want to know what I mean, go read 'My Immortal' *shudders*
Parodies that aren't funny. Yes I might write them, but hey, I suck at crack fics anyway! :) And no incest! Really! (Susan and Peter are brother and sister for crying out loud :L!)
