Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well, this is going to be my first time trying the beta-reader thing, but I'll do my best at it. I've been reading stories on FanFiction for about four years now, and I've been posting stories that I actually feel comfortable about posting for close to two years. I'm fairly critical of grammatical errors. Every story needs to be proof-read, and I just want to be an available service. :) |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Good at noticing punctuation, awkward sentence formation, or grammatical errors. Spelling errors are also very easy for me to spot. Characters that stay in a believable state. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I have trouble with writing rape scenes, or reading them, but I can. Stories that have a very depressing air about them are hard for me to write as well. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I love reading humor, adventure, and romance. But I'm fine with most anything. I'm not against and Yaoi or Yuri, but I prefer Yaoi over Yuri. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Things I dislike reading are torture, horror, and rape. Depressing themes throughout the story are quite tiring as well. |
