I'm a 24 year old college grad who minored in English, that being said I do think fanfiction is a valid for of creative writing and can be done quite well. I am not really interested in reading "fangirl" stories. "Fangirl" meaning stories that are created simply because the author wants to place themselves in sexual situations with their favorite character. You can use a likeness of yourself and still create a great piece of writing. I guess what my point is, I am most interested in reading stories that concentrate on plot development and attempt to create a logical universe.

Continuity. Its definitely something I look for in fanfic, I'll go back and check to make sure you didn't leave characters high and dry or take them to an illogical place. Also, I will call you out on OOC. Its fine if its not necessarily IC for the original work (i.e. not really something Edward would have done in SM's Twilight) but it has to be consistent with the character you created (i.e. if you make Edward bad then he says bad unless you explain his turn around, if he's good he stays good unless you explain why he changed). As a reader its confusing when characters suddenly act OOC without explanation.

I will be the first to admit I suck at punctuation. If its solely grammar that you need help with, I am NOT the beta for you! I'm okay with basics obviously, quotations, basic sentence structure, but if it gets complicated--I'm lost. Don't even get me started on semicolons. I only use them when WORD tells me too.

I'm basically good with anything. I read all types. Honestly, as much as I will read Lemons I don't know how good of a Beta I'd be at them.

As I said, Lemons might be difficult. If its just Lemons. If Lemons are included in a greater plot that would be fine.
