I've never done beta reading on here so this is new for me. I have helped at other sites and for friends. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
When it comes to fandoms that I really like I'm good at keeping true to the charaters. I can point out what they might not say or how something could be worded different to sound more like they did in the book, tv show or movie. I like to keep as close to the original charaters as possible. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I sometimes get really into a story or charater and it has to be perfect. Sometimes my idea of perfect is not everyones. lol But I try to keep true to the original story while also letting the authors come through. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I like to beta read for Gilmore Girls, My so Called Life, Veronica Mars, Dawson's Creek, Moonlight or Twilight. But am willing to make exceptions as the needed. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I don't care to beta read AU stories. There are a few exceptions but for the most part I don't care for them. |
