I am a competent beta reader who focuses mainly on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and other language points. I am also willing to give advice on the plot of stories, or to help with characterization and ideas. I make an effort to be concise and prompt, honest but not harshly critical.

I am best at fixing language points (grammar, punctuation etc.) and can also help with plot and characterization, especially within fandoms that I know.

I think my weakness would be my speed, because I tend to like looking at things thoroughly. Also, I may feel I cannot advise on characterization in a fandom I know nothing about.

I would prefer to beta stories from authors or books/series/games etc. that I know. I wouldn't mind beta-ing any story, but if I knew the fandom it came from I would be able to make better comments on the plotline and characters.

I don't think there is anything I would mind beta-reading. I am a lover of slash and dark stories, so I would not baulk at beta-reading those types of story.
