Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I try not to change the style at all. The Story belongs to the author. I just make sure spelling and grammar are okay, that everything flows, and that there are no inconsistencies in the story. I'm really not one to judge your story, but I won't Beta a story that's going no where. So if you've got a story like that, I will tell you what I think should happen. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have a great memory so I will catch most inconsistencies. I also have an eye for awkward wording. I generally can think of a way to re-wrod an awkward sentence without changing the feel of it. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do not know everything there is to know about grammar, so I may not catch all mistakes, but grammar and spelling are my strong points when it comes to writting. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I mostly like Harry Potter, Twilight, or Chronicles of Narnia FanFiction, but I'm not dead set on that. I will give anything a chance. I will also beta any rating, so don't worry about the content of the story. |
