I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but I am not perfect. However, I will beta-read for any of the specified categories, and will do so to the best of my ability. First and foremost, I check for general spelling and grammar. I understand that some people have different styles, and some people like to write in short sentences to express mood. I can usually tell when someone's doing this purposely, but if I don't realize it, then please tell me. I also check for the flow of the story, and to see if the plot is believable for the category/situation. On the categories I'm more familiar with, I go crazy checking for proper characterization. Unless it's AU, I like for everyone to be in-character. I love poetry, so if your story is in a poetic/emotionally descriptive format, then I'll look to see if it flows together, try to look into deeper meanings, etc. Or, if it's just to-the-point and narrative, then that's fine too. Overall, I'll read anything, and will more than likely love it. My dream is to be a writer for the rest of my life, so no matter the story, I'm supportive of every writer. There's nothing too terribly specific I can think of. While beta-reading, if there's anything I'm unsure about, I'll ask you what you meant with it, and do my best to resolve it.

Anything from the categories I listed above. As for genres, I'll beta-read a lot of things, but I will say that I've only worked a lot with romance, horror, mystery, and general emotional-type stories, anything from story to poem, to in-between.
