I am very excited about offering my services as a Beta because I love seeing quality work in fanfiction. As authors, we all start somewhere. I am looking forward to meeting those that are interested in refining their craft and writing to their full potential. I am also looking to forge bonds with other Bones authors by not only offering my services to interested parties, but also in soliciting a Beta reader for my stories as well. The biggest thing to know about my style is that I am really into characterization. I love to read stories that I feel portray events that could actually happen on the show. Brennan should read like Brennan, Booth should read like Booth, etc. I am also pretty crazy about spelling and grammar. For me, if I am trying to get into a potentially great story, but it is rife with spelling/and or grammar mistakes, it just ruins it for me! I usually can't read past the first mistake or two. So if you struggle in these areas, or just want to be better at them (And who doesn't? I know I do!) then let me know! I would love to help you out!

I believe that my strengths lie in writing stories that are believable and true to character. I am fairly descriptive, and I do a pretty decent job of painting a nice literary picture for my readers. Although I make errors as well (I'm looking for a Beta right now also!), I am pretty good with spelling and grammar. I like to write stories that tug at your heart in some way, and that make you feel something. I like to think that even in a one-shot, you are able to get lost for a short time in my stories.

I am pretty inconsistent right now about getting stories written. One of the reasons why I am looking for a Beta for myself is that I think the right person could help hold me accountable. I have two small children and a household to run during the day, so I don't always get time to write. Also, I have a ton of ideas in my head, but I'm not always very good at hammering out the details so that I actually have something to write.

My favorite stories are ones that create a true emotional response. I love angst and romance together. But I also enjoy reading the humor that we see in the show. I love "first time" stories where I get to read a believable account of how my favorite duo get together. Anything truly well written is a joy for me to read.

I am all for Booth/Brennan. Don't give me other pairings. I am not into slash or AU. Also, I am more then willing to help you with your characterization, but if you simply don't care about that, then I'm probably not the one for you.
