When using us as a Beta, Amaya is the first person to read through the documents. She first copy/pastes the original section of texts (one scene at a time) then writes a revised section beneath that. Between every section/scene, there is a "NOTE and REVISIONS" paragraph to explain why the changes were made to the selected area. After the entire document has been rewritten, it is sent to Aiko to check for any overlooked mistakes then sent back to the original author. Ther are no formal expectations, but rather a hope that we may be able to help another author improve. We also have a fanpage on facebook to help other writers or to keep fans in the loop.

Aiko and I are Japanese; we are very fluent in Japanese language and are familliar with both the traditional and current customs/traditions. I, Amaya, am very skilled in grammar and figurative language. I can make any passage sound beautiful, or match the mood of the given scenario, and I specialize in fantasy work and intimate scenes. Aiko is very meticulious in terms of grammar; he can catch any grammatical mistake within moments. He is also very good in describing fightbattle scenes for fantasy, modern day, alternate universe fics.

The internet at Amaya's house has been suspended, so she is only able to go online once or twice a week during school. She is also a college student so it can be difficult to send messages or documents at a quick pace. Aiko is still in Japan for university, and can only help when Amaya sends him the documents. If she doesn't send it, he can't edit it.

We prefer anime fics. It could be Naruto, Inuasha, Bleach, Sailor Moon, Teen Titans, Code Dias, Black Cat, Chobits, Fate Stay Night, Vampire Knight, xxxHolic, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Junjou Romantica, Yu-Gi-Oh, and all other anime. All ratings (from K to MA) is fine with us, as is pairings. We will write any pairing/coupling/multi-(character) fic.

We don't particularily like betareading TV Shows or Movies.
