I don't generally have expectations of people, I will beta just about anything that is correctable. It not only keeps me occupied, but it also keeps my mind thinking so it doesn't start to work slower than normal from inactivity. Keeping my brain working will help me keep pointing out things that need to be worked on and I will be able to correct them.
My betareading style... hm... well, I tend to organize things so at times one thing might be in one clump of sentences and another in another clump. At times I may clump two or more things together if need be, but otherwise I described how I beta things. And an example of how I beta things is an example of what I am typing now. I clump things together. I just generally like to read things, and I can get OCD and point out little mistakes in something that may not be all that important, but I will correct it anyway. Reading and corecting things is a passion of mine, especially when I know that other people are going to be reading it. This is how I am on another site I am on. I get antsy when I see something that can be fixed and it hasn't been fixed!

I tend to excell at spelling and a bit at descriptions. Though the descriptions tend to be a bit wordy. I am good at corrections, my friend calls me a dictionary and OCD when it comes to correcting her things. Other times I tend to point out little mistakes that might not match what was written before by her or myself at times and I have to correct them.

Weaknesses of mine would be spacing. I can speel all right and all that, but when I get typing, I tend to accidentally not space something so two words would be clumped together. Another is not paying attention when I type. I make stupd mistakes then, and some words might be misspelled without me knowing. I also tend to get carried away, if you can call that a weakness, and I just don't like to bore people out of their minds..

I don't generally have any preferance of a type of story over another. I just like to read things damn it! And that is what I plan to do.

Uh... I haven't really thought about what types of stories I don't really like to beta over another. Everything is free game with me.
