Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a young writer, still in highschool. I am a very good writer if you look at my essay grades and my future career is hopefully a novelist. I will only be a beta reader for [books] Mortal Instruments, The Twilight Saga, The Host, Darkest Powers, Hunger Games, and Vampire Academy [tv shows] Glee, Supernatural, Veronica Mars, Ugly Betty, and Heroes. I prefer reading the stories that I know the characters too. I will improve grammar and I expect you will consider my advice on changes. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at exploding the moment, similes, alliteration, etc. Grammar just is a strong point. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My main weakness is that I'm a bad speller. If Microsoft Word didn't have spell check, I would not be a writer myself. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I love reading other POV stories, background stories, sequels, and AU. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I will not read fanfics that are just sexfics. I'm not saying that I won't read M rated fics but if there is no storyline and all it is lemons, then I will not read it. I also do not like OOC fanfics. |
