It's my first time to create a Beta profile but from what I understand my job is to read a story and offer a polite but critical response or opinion. My betareading style is to first just read through the chapter and see the obvious mistakes in spelling or grammar. Then I proceed to re-reading anything that catches my eye or seems to be unfitting. After than I will take another look at the story and observe it with a bit more detail before I finish.

When it comes to writing I think that I have a natural flare for it. It's not hard for me to just write and come up with a more than decent chapter in under an hour so I have the raw talent. To be more specific I think I am good at creating an overall plot that will be both realistic and interesting at the same time and I believe that I have proper grammar and choice of words. As for beta reading I think that I excel at noting the grammatical errors and any actions of characters that don't seem to be fitting for them.

Since I am a beginner at betareading I'm not exactly sure what people expect but I think that if you give me a chance I will be able to critique you appropriately based on what I think makes a good story, plot, and character. As a writer I believe that I am not that creative and that executing an idea that's above my expertise is very hard.
