Beta? What?

Yes, now I'm a beta. I've set out to do something about all those piss-annoying grammar mistakes you find in un-betaed stories. I can normally get stories back fully edited in under two days if they are under 10k in words. Anything over that will take me a while longer. Also, if I'm editing something else at the time which will make me take longer, I'll let you know.

I'll edit chapter fics; I like them a lot, I just can't write them because I don't have the capacity to stick to one fandom for more than a month or two at a time. But I can edit them. ;) My expectations from your story are... well, I don't have any. I mean, corrections are what I'm here for, right? But beware, I can be really harsh sometimes. If I see something I think is wrong, I will point it out. HOWEVER, if it's purposely that way, just tell me and I'll be okay with it.

Grammar and spelling are my forte. Characterization, I can do too (I think...), if I've read whatever your fanfiction is based from.

I'd like to say I'm a genius editor but I'm not. I am not good at editing friendship fiction because I have trouble characterizing anything other than romance. I'm just that perverted. Also, fixing run-on sentences and repeating sentence structure are not my strong points, since I have a bad habit of run-ons and repeating sentence structure myself.

I would prefer to beta stories I'm familiar with the characters of, but I'm not really tight wound about that. I'd like to beta slash all the time, because slash is one of my favorite things in life. However, I'll beta het too, if the pairing isn't too absurd. Also, humor and romance are a bonus.

I'd rather not beta really, really, really angsty fics where all the characters are masochistic and, for lack of a better word, emo and think that the world would be a better place without them.

I also don't normally do Mary-Sues. They aren't my thing, and if you have a Mary-Sue in a story, you probably don't need me helping her/his characterization anyway because YOU made him/her up. Which means that you should know your own character, in short.

Also, I happen to be somewhat of a feminist. Misogyny is a major pet peeve of mine. Don't write it.

Other than that, I'm pretty much good to go on any fanfiction.
