I'm 'Maths_Is_Immortal'. I'm a seventeen-year-old English girl in her last year of school before university. When betareadng, as well as paying attention to spelling, grammar, typos and the like, I'll look for any sentences that don't flow properly or sound right, and make suggestions for improvement in these areas. I'll also look for good points in your writing- things that I feel work particularly well or suit your writing style- and point them out so that you can 'play your strengths'.
All that I'd ask of you as a writer is to please be patient, especially if the document that you've sent me is quite long. I have a lot of school work that I must give priority, but I'll do my best to get back to you with suggestions as quickly as I can. If your piece of writing is very long, then I may split it into sections so that I can send you back bits at a time. This way you can work on any improvements on earlier sections while waiting for me to finish with the rest. This should reduce the time needed to complete the writing, and you won't be waiting for feedbak for as long.

Whatever I'm reading, I tend to pick up errors quickly, so I should be accurate as a betareader. People have asked me to check their essays and assignments, and have been very pleased with my help and advice, so I have some experience of similar work.
Most of all, I really enjoying reading the stories that people post on this site (after all, that's why most of us are here)! As I mentioned above, I pick up on the good points s well as the errors, so I'll try my best to help you to use your strengths to improve your writing. I may spend a lot of time on my schoolwork, but since I enjoy reading the work of people on this site I'll probably be eager to take a break and check through your writing, getting it back to you as soon as I can.

We all miss the odd spelling mistake, and I'm aware that I do this sometimes. However, between us we should be able to catch as many as possible! During the time coming up to exams, I'll probably be busier than usual. This means that, while I'll always try my best to help quickly, there will be times of the year during which this shall be hard. If it gets too hectic, I'll try to let you know so that you cn find someone else for a month or two!

My favourite stories are generally romance, or feature romance of some kind, even if it's in an angsty way! I also love humor fics, when they're well written. This said, I'll read whatever you send, regardless of the genre!

Particularly mature fics can make me feel a bit uncomfortable, but I'll still do my best to help! The same goes for explicit violence. If you have any fics that are M-rated and want them looking over, I'll still do my best to help- I just probably will focus on spelling and grammar.
