Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
First year university student at your service! I enjoy reading romance/angst/drama/hurt/comfort a lot, but I have nothing against anything else. That is just a preference. If you want me to become your beta reader, please give me at least 3 days to edit the chapter/story, because I also have things to do and do not only idly sit on my bum in front of the computer all day. I also wish that if you require my services, please do have a way of communicating with me, something like MSN, because I do not want to edit your paper only for you to get mad at me because I changed something into something else that is completely not what you meant it to be. Communication is key. Please do not leave me hanging without any way of contacting you. Furthermore, please do not neglect to mention I am your beta reader on the chapter(s) I edit. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm pretty good at transitioning sentences into other sentences so there will not be much of a gap. I can spot gaps in writings where details are lacking and help you fill the spots to convey your meanings to readers better. If the story gets confusing, I WILL spend time wracking through my brain to clarify things. Improper grammar drives me insane. I do not have immaculately error-less grammar, but 99% of the time, my grammar is correct. If you want a grammar Nazi, there's one right here. I will make sure ALL the spelling and GRAMMAR are correct. It drives me insane if it is not. And I also believe a wide range of vocabulary captivates the readers, so if you need help with that, then ask. (: |

Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta only Naruto stories. Sorry. ): I'm open to yaoi and yuri stories, and I will not turn down any pairings, except for Sasuke x Hinata. They don't talk, they don't interact, I do not understand. Gomenasai. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I dislike Sasuke x Itachi pairings. They are siblings and...they just cannot mix. No Sasuke x Hinata. Also, no Neji x Hinata, because...again, they are DIRECTLY related. I have nothing against incest, but for some reason, these three pairings just kind of miff me. |
