As a Beta-reader, I look not only for consistent and correct use of grammar, spelling, and syntax, but also the author's ability to convey emotion and what is happening in the story through use of symbolism, descriptions, and imagery. If the author is struggling in one of these areas, I will strive my hardest to help them with the problem so that the story they are writing can become what they originally envisioned it to be.

If you are having blocks in storybuilding, I'm your man. I want you to be able to know what the heart of your story is. What is the driving conflict? If you would like me to beta-read for you, you will probably be hearing that word a lot.

I can describe like no tomorrow; spending paragraphs upon paragraphs of time talking about the indentations on a table, the emotion and tension in a room after a heavy argument, or the effect a single word has on one of the central characters is what I do best. My genre strengths lie in general, romantic, and dramatic stories. I like to make the little things count.

I won't lie; I suck at humor. I cannot tell a joke in stories to save my life. While I am alright at helping others with their struggles, I often get stuck myself with writing my own projects. Just remember that writing exercises are always a huge help in relieving those blocks.

My most preferred stories are those that deal with romantic drama, tragedies, and slice of life styled fics.

I am open to any and all stories; just be aware that my strength does not lie in humor.
