I am a young, aspiring writer who loves what she does. I have a tendency to study successful amateur/unpublished writers rather than the largely commercial ones. I find that many authors deserve to be published but choose to write for the passion rather than for the money, which I admire immensely. Writing has been my passion since I was still in elementary school, and I will continue to pursue it until the day I die.

I, being a horrible typist myself, do not mind the occasional typo, as long as it doesn't take away from the story as a whole. However, I do focus strongly on character development and interaction. My philosophy in writing is that having well developed characters in mind makes a story much easier to write and fun to read. If you have a character that seems real in your head, all you have to do is put them in a situation and the story seems to just write itself. When I write, I develop ideas ahead of time. I enjoy having a sense of continuity and flow within a story, and I find that thinking ahead is the best way to do that.

I look for writers who take their work seriously, and write not for the attention but for the enjoyment of it.

I am strong on dialogue, character development, and character interactions. Basically, anything that makes a character seem more real and believable is my talent. I also happen to be good at cliffhangers and single liners that stand out to a reader.

Grammar and punctuation. 1. I am a horrible typist. 2. I don't believe perfect grammar is required to make a good story. However, I do believe that it has to be taken into account and the usage must be well thought out.

I prefer multi-chapters because I like watching characters and plots grow and blossom. One-shots are okay, but I'm not as good with them.

Slash. I have nothing against it and I read a good deal of it myself, but I am so picky about it that I don't believe I can be a good betareader for most of it. Unless the stigma of homosexuality is ackowleged, then I have a tendency to stray away. I don't like stories who slash all of the characters together "just because they can." It must be handled tastefully.

I also tend to stray away from self-destruction. Cutting and such is not my cup of tea. Alcoholism and some drug use is about as far as I can take.

No smut...please.
