I'm not going to betaread stories in which the author can't be bothered to attempt to use correct punctuation and grammar. I'm not fluent in the language of chatspeak; don't expect me to be. Other than that, I'll read about anything. I'm here to help you improve, right? I'm willing to help in any way possible as long as you're willing to make an effort.

Grammar and sentence structure are probably my best strengths. If a sentence doesn't sound right, I'll reread it, restructure it, play with it, and change it around until I get something that makes more sense and flows better. I also have a fairly good vocabulary and avoid repeating words too often. I have been told I'm really good at descriptions, but I don't feel that it's my strongest area.

Actual plot sometimes evades my mind. I can write about a normal boring day and make it sound a little bit interesting, but I can't always come up with eventful, realistic, attention-catching plots. Also, introductions and conclusions like to hide from me.

I'd rather read more serious stories, instead of random humor. Other than that, I'll read almost anything.

I don't usually critically read random humor. By this, I mean stories in which random characters pop in, crack a joke or two, then disappear, or something like that.
