As a beta reader, I do not focus too much on the grammar, but rather, the characterization and developing story lines (and making sure that not even a bike can get through plot holes.) Though, I will make some suggestions on the grammar side of things but not always.

My expectations from would-be writers is that each chapter must be read at least once before sending them to me, especially for spelling error side of things. And anything you wish to correct, whether it be your story, the details, grammar, characters and so on.

My experience is that I have gone over many stories, some for my friends and others for complete strangers for over five years, on and off. As for the series listed, I am very familiar with all of them to the most current chapter or the entire series if completed.

My strengths is that I go over each characterizations carefully as well as the plot of a story. I may also suggest to nix or add more details if your descriptions or dialogue is running the story. So that your story can be more balanced and at a good pace. I will also point out any obvious grammar flaws that sticks out like a sore thumb.

The one weakness of mine is perfect grammar, as I mentioned above. So, please check those for yourself.
