I'm as strict on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and the rest as I would be with my own work. I'm aware that writing is a difficult process, even for seasoned writers, but you must proof-read your own things the best you can before sending it in to me. I can be brutally honest, and I'll tell you whether or not I think your story is worth reading. Otherwise, I fancy myself a good sounding board, and I'm always willing to help out with ideas.

I don't care what the content of your story is. I don't have any triggers, at least none that I've discovered, so anything is okay with. I'm an English major, and I've been involved with some writing workshop classes, meaning I've got a decent amount of experience with editing the work of my peers. My instincts for grammar and spelling are usually very good, and I more than excel at crafting a plausible storyline.

My punctuation still needs some work, especially commas. I have a decent vocabulary, but, as an English major, I could definitely improve it. As a writer, especially with my original work, my work does tend to be a little dull, but I'd like to think that I've improved a lot since I started submitting my work on this site.

Please see my regular profile for the full list of my fandoms. Personally, I like most stories. Also, unless there is a valid reason (i.e. because of plot/pardoy/whatever), I prefer to keep everybody as in character as they can possibly be.

I hate it when characters are written out of character, unless it's a good reason (i.e. because of plot/it's a parody/whatever). I've also learned my lesson with putting pointless quotes at the beginning of chapters. If you can't do it well, don't do it at all. And poetry. I forgot to mention that I hate most poetry. Yes, even yours.
