I'm happy to help people edit their stories so they are more comprehensive and reader friendly. I believe that one of the most important parts of a story is the editing. When you think that you've finished lay the story down for a few days and go back and edit it again. Read it slowly and hear it in your head. You'll end up with a story that will portray what you see to others. Spelling and punctuation *is* important. When I am trying to get lost in a story it is jarring to find the wrong form of a word used in a sentence. My brain has to engage at that point and figure out what the author really meant. If I read a story and the first thing I ask myself is "is the writers first language English?" It's not a good story (unless the author's first language really isn't English and then I just have the utmost respect for someone who writes fanfiction in their second language!!) But to the native English speakers it's just lazy not to proof read a little bit. Just because it made sense in your head when you wrote it doesn't mean it makes sense to me when I read it. I don't know what you really meant to say if you didn't say it.

Proofreading. I believe in proper punctuation and use of homonyms (words like there, their, and they're.) I am also happy to help with plotline if I can come up with any suggestions.

Staying away from cliches.

I prefer Tony/Ziva stories but I like any type of story as long as it is readable. I also like Mimi and Stanley from Jericho and Elliot/Olivia from Law and Order SVU. But there are other types of stories that I can help with as well, I love TV!!
