When I check over peoples writings first I want to know what your goal as a writer is. Where do you want to take the story? Once I have that information, I will go over the document and make sure you are headed in the right directiong and have all the needed information, and don't have too much information. I also check for grammar, spelling, and word flow. Pretty basic beta reading things.

Sometimes I have a tendancy to read too fast and will miss minor spelling and grammar mistakes. Problem is usually solved when I give the document a second look over, but I'm not perfect, I may still miss a few things here and there.

I don't really have anything I really prefer, I will read pretty much anything except what is listed below.

Incest is really the only thing I absolutely will not do, anything else, go for it.
