As I haven't actually beta read anything yet I don't think I can accurately describe my style, though I'll try.
I tend to lean toward realism, even if a story is fantasy based I would tend to reach in and make sure that the story has believable aspects to retain the readers interest and 'suspense of disbelief' so to speak.
I try to make sure that details aren't forgotten, leaving holes in the story that leave the reader with questions and/or confusion which tends to lead to dissapointment.
I like reading and editing the writing of people I feel actually want the help, in other words, people who edit their own work and tend to just need a little editing with grammar, spelling or even an opinion on characterisation and over-all plot holes, people who can't spell, write a proper dialogue or paragraph structure tend to be annoying to me as I feel that they are not serious with their writing and don't care enough to learn the basics of being a writer in the first place...though I am NOT averse to the thought of helping someone to overcome these failings I would be aggravated if the writer CONTINUED to make the same simple mistakes and refused to overcome their ignorance.

Strengths, hmm...
How to describe myself...I'm generally detail oriented and like to make sure that everything written from one chapter to the next flows and makes sense. For example, if you say in one chapter that two women have been kidnapped and then later only state a reason for one of the women being kidnapped I am going to demand a reason for the second even if it was just a mistake or if there is a reason in a future chapter that is not yet apparent.
I am great at writing first person perspective (without dialogue) and even writing thoughts and descriptions of characters and surroundings without them being long and drawn out which generally leads to the reader skipping over portions of the chapter to get to the 'more interesting' stuff.

I am terrible with writing dialogue myself though I'm great at re-vamping or reworking another persons dialogue if I feel that it's too confusing or juvenile...

I like to read romance, adventure/action, humor and general stories...sometimes I'll go for an 'angsty' story if I think things will work out in the end.

I am not really interested in reading or editing works that are tragedy type of works, I don't like to be left crying at the end of a story...I believe that stories along with television are supposed to be a 'great escape' so to speak from the harshness we often have to face in 'real' life. So, I do not really care for stories that allow a reader to become attached to a main character and then subsequently kills them off for the effect.
