I guess as a beta-reader I usually just correct the grammar mistakes I catch, fix a few sentence structures, stuff like that, and then send it. If you want to know what I changed please be sure to clarify that for me, so I'll know not to just fix it and send without showing exactly what I changed. Whoever wants my service, should have already edited their chapter(s) a normal amount at least. Also, I might take anywhere from 3 days to a week to beta-read a chapter, depending on many variables. I use DocX and sometimes offer short critique when sending back chapters.

I rarely have trouble drawing out good dialogue; I think it comes easier for me to write out long conversations. I can write good imagery. Also, I am amazing at grammar and spelling- I hardly ever make mistakes in my writings regarding spelling and grammar. Sometimes people tell me I am a walking thesaurus, so I can help you with finding the right synonyms to replace the more dull and basic words in the writing in order to make it more vivid and exciting.

My weaknesses, okay... probably the length of my chapters. My chapters usually come out anywhere from 500-1500 words, and sometimes 2000-3000, but rarely. I definitely can beta-read longer chapters, but it will take me longer to sift through them.

I'm strongest mostly in Hurt/Comfort, Family, Romance, Suspense, and Angst, but I can beta-read almost all of them.

Stories with sex scenes I will not beta-read. That is just about the only exception. br /
