As a beta-reader, I focus on the flow of the story; I think taking the reader from point to point in a manner that feels natural and not forced is important. Grammar and spelling are obviously important, too.

My betareading style is mostly getting to know the canon the fic came from first, then reading through it a couple of times to get everything.

I believe in fan fiction as an art form, and if asked to beta will beta to the best of my ability. As a fan fiction writer myself (though, admittedly, not a terribly active one) I think I am enough in the 'business' to be able to pass accurate judgement and use my own experiences and ideas to help the author improve their fic.

My biggest weakness is that I am somewhat lenient with schedules and would have to persuade myself to be more punctual. Second place is taken by the fact that I am not a native english speaker; I have been enrolled in an english-speaking school for the past two years, though, and pull off a 6 in my English A2 Higher Level course.

I'm open to nearly everything; I do have a taste for parody or satire but it doesn't have to be only that.

Yaoi/ Yuri (especially PWP or pairings not spacy enough to be crack but not canon enough to be good), crackfic of the über-spastic kind (the string of InherentlyFunnyWords glued together with frosting) and rapefics are thing I can't be having with.
