Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
In my betareading, I tend to get down to the nitty-gritty details. If you're looking for a quick review, you won't get it from me unless you're story is very short. I offer better work if the author tells me what they're looking for beforehand. I want to know if you want extra attention spent on grammar and spelling, characterization, or plot. Please send me a private message if you want to know how much knowledge I have about any of the fandoms listed on my profile. My current favorite fandoms are "Doctor Who", "Sarah Jane Adventures" and "The Adventures of Shirley Holmes". I've only seen the first three seasons of 7th Heaven and part of season 4. I'm happy to beta English stories for the German children's TV shows "Ein Fall fur BARZ" and "Die Pfefferkorner" if someone ever writes them and I'm also willing to beta German stories for both these fandom for characterization and plot (my German spelling aren't good enough for spelling corrections). |

I prefer detective stories or stories involving police investigations and stories with a paranormal edge. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Hardcore science-fiction and stories which focus on romance or sexual situations are not my thing. |
