I'm a first-time beta looking for something not too intense (or long!) to start with. I'm in full-time education so I don't have a lot of time to spend on anything else, but I do promise to do my best. If I'm starting to lag behind, I'll let you know! Mostly I think I'll try to correct spelling and grammar errors, as I see so many of those in fanfics on this site and it just pulls me out of the story. I find it much easier to read them when there aren't any mistakes. If you have particular things you want me to watch out for, such as a particular weakness in your style etc, just let me know and I'll do my best to spot them.

My grammar and spelling are both very good, and although I'm English I lived in America for three years so I know and can ignore American spellings/words/grammar if you want me to. I have a good sense of consistency, so am likely to spot bits that don't match with something mentioned earlier. I've also studied Spanish for a few years, so I can do basic translations a bit of the more complicated stuff, but I'm by no means fluent. Just better than a website ;)

I'm not sure that my sense of character is great; I've read so many more fanfics than books that I've kind of absorbed everyone else's version of characters into one, rather than staying true to the author.

For SP - Definitely a babe! I have nothing against Morelli, but I don't read stories where Steph ends up with him. I just don't think they're meant for each other. And if you want to be really mean to Morelli, that's fine with me as well.

For Narnia - I would probably prefer stories where the Pevensies get to stay in Narnia. Going back to England for a while is fine, but I've always felt they belong in Narnia more than England. But this isn't a necessity.

For SP - Stories where Steph doesn't get with Ranger! (Other Merry Men are acceptable, or even more than one...) I like happy endings, and character death is ok as long as it isn't overdone or Steph or Ranger themselves. There must be a good reason for it!

For Narnia - Don't think I've found anything yet that I really don't like. Though perhaps extreme character death... Please don't kill any of the Pevensies! Or at least don't ask me to read it if you do.
