Hi! I've been on fanfiction for many years and have been writing since I could use a pen. I love english and have scored 5's on both AP English exams. I enjoy reading books and have experience tutoring and correcting other classmates' work. I just began the actual act of betareading, but I believe that I can most definitely help! Personally, I will take the passage and highlight, bold, or italicize what might be best removed or adjusted. I will not take stories that are in script form or poetry.

I'm best at spelling, grammar, rephrasing for continuity, and description.

Although I'm not bad at punctuation, I always have trouble identifying the perfect placement of commas, semi-colons and colons. I also struggle with characterization in particular circumstances. If I'm not as well-read on the story, my characterization can be off as expected!

I like science fiction, mystery, hurt/comfort and angst stories the most. I'm not a particularly big romance fan but if it's particularly interesting, or overlaps with the other genres I enjoy, I'll be happy to read! To that note, I will read het fanfiction, as well as some slash pairings (Blaine/Kurt, Draco/Harry, Dean/Castiel, etc.)

I will not read/ beta-read incest, or male pregnancy. I will also not a read/ beta-read anime. I will also not beta for various stories about books, movies, or other that I haven't read.
