I will pretty much beta any fic, as long as it is in the fandoms specified. Don't ask me to beta a story about characters I have never heard of. Otherwise, I'll be happy to read carefully over your fic, offer spelling/grammar corrections, and give constructive criticism as to wording, character actions, and dialogue.
I'm pretty prompt; I'll most likely get my comments to you within 3 to 5 days, if not much sooner.

My strengths are grammar/spelling and dialogue. These are my strong points in writing, and what I pay attention to most when reading others' fics.

I do not write or read action sequences, super technical descriptions (esp. scientific or medical descriptions), and overly graphic sex scenes very well, and neither will I be much help beta-ing them.

I love Buffy, Harry Potter, and the X-Files the most, and I love stories that focus on characterization. Subtle humor is good, though I have a hard time enjoying anything overly slapstick.
Also, some of my favorite pairings are pretty unconventional, so send 'em my way!

Smutty smut. Anything with mostly OC's (especially stories where the author inserts his/herself into the story). Anything too angsty or depressing. I generally won't want or be able to help you with those. But I'm pretty open, and I love reading new things, so drop me a line and I'll be glad to help!
