Hello, I'm Sam. I see lots of stories with mistakes, (including my own) and wish I could change it. I want to help you make your grammar and spell right and have your story flow smoothly. I read out loud to myself, because sometimes just hearing the voices in your head aren't enough. But this habit also lets me see if the story flows the way it should and if the wording makes sense. I do this to myself as well to see if I'm making sense, which a good amount of the time I don't. I will go over it with a figurative fine tooth comb to help make your story the best it can be.

I notice when things are screwed up and wrong, making it easy to spot and mistakes. It actually drives me nuts when there's a typo and it makes me want to fix it. I can talk and try into stay in character and it annoys me when things aren't true to the characters, since it's not believable. I like it when the story could actually be within the plot of the show/book/movie/whatever. It makes it better in my view and more enjoyable.

I can't spell if my life depended on it. But that's what they have dictionaries for right? I have horrible ADD that causes me to get easily distracted, but I will do my best to focus.

I'd prefer to beta-read for something I know. I like fantasy, but have read/watched other things. I do this only because then I can help you stay true to the characters and their natures. If I don't know the show, I can't do that. Things that I know very well are, Bones, NCIS, CSI, House, Heroes, Angel, Buffy, Southern Vampire Novels, Dark-Hunters, Pendragon Series, The Inkheart Trilogy, Inuyasha, and Fruits Basket. I have a ton more books, most of the fantasy, but this are the ones off the top of my head that I am most comfortable with. Feel free to contact me and ask if I've read something. I also have no problems with sex scenes.

As mentioned above, I won't beta things I don't know. I will also not beta any Twilight stories. I am so completely sick of the series that I wouldn't touch it with a 20-foot pole. Sorry. There are also some pairings that i am devoted to and won't read anything that screws with them, for example, Booth and Brennan, Grissom and Sarah, and Buffy and Spike.
