As a beta I can be nit-picky, thorough, and honest. I have no intention of spoon-feeding you and pampering you with flowery words, the truth is the truth and that's how we will both grow as writers. When I am editing something I reread at least two or three times to make sure I get everything as perfect as possible. I won't force you to take my advice or change your story the way I see fit. As a fellow author I may lend you ideas, fill in plot holes, and support you as much as I can. However, I will not like to beta something that does not interest me, that would be a waste of time for myself. I'm completely fine with anything yaoi, shonen-ai, and even O.Cs (original characters) because I am an O.C writer myself. About yuri and shojo-ai, I'm not so sure of. I have nothing against it and if you ask me to edit such a story I won't mind at all, I just don't exactly have a love for it.

I can easily catch grammatical errors and am quite adept at spelling. I can provide in depth ideas and know when characters are in character or not. I love to analyze, go beneath the surface, and search for something intriguing in a story. If you either already have that depth are want some help getting it, I'm the person for you. Ideas come quickly to me and I have a good sense of diction and vocabulary. Not to mention, I won't bite your head off, and am a pretty friendly person.

The biggest fault I have is my laziness, my *extreme* laziness. Even on my own stories, I tend to procrastinate again and again. However, if your story is interesting enough, I will do all I can to revise and help you. Additionally, I have this odd personality where I laze off on my own work but *always* put a hundred and fifty percent into the work of another. I get this feeling when I work with a partner or a group that no matter what, I can't let them down. So if I do beta your story, don't worry.

I don't particularly have a preference since I'm pretty open-minded towards genres, ratings, and couples. Something with romance, some tragedy, and humor would be especially nice, but I'll accept just about anything. What I really want though, in an o.c fic, is a character who grows and changes over the course of a story and has flaws that make her/him believable and likable (I can help you with this). After all, perfection is an insult to writers, because then there is no imagination or growth to be had. Oh yes, Lemons are welcome.

Crossovers unless wonderfully done, are usually not on my list of likes. Neither are mpreg and fem! ones, they just don't click with me.
