I am constantly correcting my own family about their spoken grammar, so you know I don't take this lightly. I am always, ALWAYS reading something - whether it's a book, a fanfic or something random. You can always find me reading something and taking in everything. Mistakes, wording, style, flow...

I do not like changing someones style, as each person has their own and should try to stick to it. I won't change your style, but I may suggest a different way to word some things. I will offer you helpful, constructive critiscism if you want it and encouragement. Remember: Nobody's perfect. I know I'm not, but I try my best and you should, too. Don't take critiscism as a flame. It just means that the person who told you is taking some of their time to try and help you improve.

I will ask you how in-depth you would like me to go. I can simply fix little punctuation and spelling errors or do all that and dig deep to offer suggestions for alternate wordings for things to helping keep characters 'in character'.

Please note that if you want more in-depth help than simple little fixes then I will not be able to work on each chapter as fast. If you want that deeper help I only ask for some patience whilst I work.

I am very good at picking up small mistakes that go unnoticed, overlooked or are ignored. I'm also quite a good speller. I study things from a psychological angle, so I can help you dig deep into a character's psyche. I've also been told that I'm very 'poetic' with some of my sentences. I might be able to help you expand on things that you'd like to do full justice to.

I'm on the computer practically everyday, so I respond to things quickly. I also don't like putting off work, so as soon as I get a document to look over, I'll get straight to it.

Hmm...I don't catch everything. I'll read over something anywhere up to ten times, so I catch most things, but, as I stated above; nobody's perfect. So, please don't expect me to find and correct ALL errors.

I am not comfortable with sappy, mushy scenes, but I can get through them for simple fixes. If you want deeper help regarding character thoughts/actions for those sorts of scenes then you are likely not to get my best work.

I also cannot stand smut/lemons. I will not do any level of beta-ing for scenes like that.

I'm pretty comfortable with just about anything. I don't have any genre that I favour over others. However, I would be a lot more comfortable beta-ing a story that's part of a fandom I know. If you could tell me what fandom you're working with beforehand, that would be greatly appreciated.

I especially prefer stories with a serious/real feel to them, regardless of fandom. For example, I know...say, Sonic the Hedgehog, is very resilient. He can take a hit and keep coming back for more. I DON'T like it when someone writes him as being somebody who feels no pain and keeps getting up whether he's missing a limb or not. I prefer stories with a touch of realism. You'll see it in all of my own stories.

While I'm not picky, I'm not into very romantic stories. I just don't do sappy, overly mushy things. I'll happily beta a story that only has a few sappy scenes, but I'm afraid I won't be much help for them outside of grammar, punctuation and spelling. I also do NOT do M-rated scenes, so don't even ask. I'll beta for romance if - and only IF - they are well constructed with more plot than person meets person, falls in love, does stuff together.

Any story that is smut/lemon I will not beta so please do not ask. Even if you only have one little scene with it I will not beta that chapter. Sorry, really not comfortable with it.
