Hi. I'm Ashleigh and I thought I would like to give beta reading a go. I love to read and will read just about anything. I love seeing what people can come up with and how far their imagination can stretch. Considering that I rely so much on betas, I thought I could offer to help others. I struggle to pick up things in my own writing, but I can pick it up in other's.

Spelling. I consider this to be my strongest point in writing. I know the difference between there, their and they're, as well as then and than and I know where to put them in a sentence. There are very few words I don't know how to spell. Also, I consider myself to be quite good at plot development. I am very capable of stringing things together from nowhere. This is really handy when you're suffering writers block. If you need any help on where to go next, I'm your girl!

Sentence structure and grammar. Although I'm not...terrible at it, it is a weakness of mine. I'm always writing short sentences, starting them with 'and', 'then', and 'but'. And, I always throw in way too many commas, or put the wrong break in. But maybe I can pick it up easier than I can in my own writing. Detail is not a strength of mine, either. I tend to write just what 'is' and I can never seem to go in to much detail.

I will pretty much read anything from Harry Potter, Merlin, Supernatural, Home and Away, Neighbours, Obernewtyn and Magic School Bus. If it is just spelling or something you need checked, then I am happy to read something from any other fandom, but I can't promise I will know what it's about.

I won't read any 'relativecest' fics. Like no Sam/Dean or whatever. Sorry, I'm just not in to that.
