I will edit any and everything to the best of my abilities. But I expect to deal with young adults or adults.

I have read and/or watched most of my preferences, so if I am betareading something and it is too far-fetched for whatever is being 'fanficked,' (Ex: Tuhru from Fruits Basket doing magic/flying/being evil) or someone is too out-of-character (Ex: Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho falling in love/laughing/crying/dancing in the first chapter), and it is severe enough in my point of view, I might stop taking the author's requests.

Gore-filled battles have always drawn my attention. Long intellectual/philosophical conversations have as well. And lately, so have lemons -_-'

In other words, the more graphic, the more it'll grab my attention, meaning I'll be quicker and better at picking out mistakes and it'll be done that much quicker.

... Fluffiness. I don't mean flirting; I mean if you the characters are doing nothing but giggling and blushing like new brides. I cannot edit those types of fanfics properly.

Action, Gore, Drawn-out Battles where the victor barely defeats death afterwards. ... and Adult-themes.
And, sadly enough, both happy AND sad endings. Unless they're sad for my favorite characters. But even those have a certain charm.

There are definately many kinds of stories that I would never want to read. I, like many other Hiei-fans, do not enjoy it when authors make him cry and/or give him a more horrible past than he already has. Same for many other of my favorite characters. And if you make them seem like their own evil/good twin, ugh... don't get me started.
