I feel the best way to give feedback is to give personal opinions and reactions to a story. On top of that, I give specific comments about phrasing and situation, as well as my thoughts as the characters, scenes, and plot as a whole. I'm a firm believer that if someone disagrees strongly with their editor that that is a good thing. The stronger the opinion, the more the author shows their conviction to what they feel is necessary in their own story.

I can look at a story and enjoy it for it's own merits, and not for it's complexity or it's value as literature. I will put a lot of time into "beta-ing" and put as much effort into improving your story as you put in writing it in the first place. Even if I don't know your category, I am always willing to learn. Also, I pride myself on my sense for well-paced dialog.

I have a tendency not to value correct grammar and spelling as highly as a well-developed storyline.

I like stories that are more character oriented. Also, I absolutely love crossovers of all types.

Serious romance in general is not my cup of tea, though I do appreciate fluff. Also, I don't usually read slash, so I might not be the right choice to beta it.
