I am a Psychology major and an English minor. Psychology is my first love but writing and reading comes in close second. I love fanfiction and would be eager to beta for you. I understand that writers usually desire a quick turn around and will work hard to get your story back to you quickly. If that is not possible for any reason I will be up front about that and will take no offense if you decide to choose another beta.

I will be honest with criticism but not cruel. My job is to help you improve your story, not to berate for any reason.

I use track changes so you can actively see what I have changed and choose to accept it or not if you prefer. I will make spelling and grammar changes, but more global suggestions will be left as comments. I am big on commenting so you will never be in the dark about what I am suggesting.

I am very big on communicating with the author and will gladly talk through whatever issues you are having in your story.

I focus on characterization and style. The fandoms in my preferences are all very well known to me and I will work hard at helping you keep things in character. I also look closely at stylistic choices such as the words you select, length of sentence, ect to help you best get your point across to the reader.

I'm good at grammar, spelling and helping you find unnecessary tidbits that distract from the point of a sentence.

I'm a psych student so I can handle tough issues in stories, but I reserve the right to say no if things get too graphic.

Though I work hard to find grammar and spelling mistakes I am not perfect at it. I am not very good at action scenes, either in writing them myself or evaluating other people's work.

I prefer oneshots or short stories.

I prefer stories that focus on the friendships between characters. I love stories that go in depth on episodes/scenes or explore the characters past. My favorite characters for each fandom are listed below, but I will beta for any character(s).
