Hi guys, I've been on fanfiction for over 10 years now and have written several stories of my own. I prefer to beta-read FINISHED or NEARLY FINISHED pieces. If you have any sentences that you need help re-wording, please BOLD. I will not write your stories for you. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I do an excellent job of preserving the writer's voice, making sure than the writing flows smoothly, catching spelling mistakes, repetitive words. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Grammar. Especially with It's and Its...I always mix up the two. And sometimes I'm not sure where to put the comma. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I basically will read anything. I appreciate all forms of writing. Crack, slash, romance, dark-fics, lemons, fluff...send them my way! |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
If the story has scenes of rape or violence, I would rather read them if they are extremely well written that flows well with the plot, than the writer just sticks them in there for shock factor alone. |
